Terms of Service

Queue

We take clients on a first-come-first-served basis. You can contact us for a wait time estimate. If you have a project with a deadline, please contact us to see if we can accomodate a rush order. Rush projects may incur a rush fee.

Project Timeline

We do not guarantee a completion date for any project. Most blog/web design projects can be completed in 2-3 weeks. This usually depends on the speed of the client’s feedback and the number of revisions required. If you have a project deadline, please let us know.

Contract

Each client will be emailed a quote form detailing the work that will be done. The client will sign and return the form to New Season Design before the work begins. Any work requested outside of the terms of the quote will be billed at a separate rate.

Drafts

Blog and web site designs include up to 3 revisions. After you review the first mockup, you will be asked to submit specific feedback. You should include all changes that you want made. If the first mockup is completely unacceptable, a second mockup will be created based on your feedback. The same process would be used for a third mockup. Providing specific changes and examples will be necessary in order for the design to progress. Additional mockups or revisions can be completed at an hourly rate of $60 per hour.

Images

All images will be delivered as .jpeg/.png files. Original vectored (Adobe Illustrator) files can be provided for an additional fee.

Communication

We will be communicating with you often during the design process. We will need specific feedback and your approval to continue the work. This communication will happen via email and/or Skype. Responding to our questions in a timely manner will allow your design to progress. Extensive delays in communication will cause delays in the completion of your project and possibly interfere with other clients’ projects.

Payment

All blog and web design projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. This deposit is non-refundable unless we must cancel work on the project. PayPal (direct payment or credit card payment) or payment by mail (check, cashier’s check, or money order) are accepted. (You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay by credit card.) Your project will be placed in our queue after the deposit has been received and cleared.

Once the final design has been approved, you will receive an invoice for the balance. After the balance has been paid in full, the files will be delivered in the agreed-upon format(s).

Due to their custom nature, projects other than blog/web design require full payment at the start of the project.

Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our work, New Season Design does not issue refunds for any reason.

Copyright & Credit

The copyright for your site is transferred to you upon delivery. The site design must be kept intact and not altered after installation. If you want to make changes to your design after installation, contact us. Another designer may not make changes to the custom theme design without express permission from New Season Design. If you choose to remove any portion of the design, you must remove the complete design and use a new WordPress theme. You may not continue to use a premium theme provided as part of our design.

You may provide your own photos or stock images for use in your design. If you choose stock images, you are responsible for compliance with license/photography copyrights. New Season Design is not liable for photos or design elements you provide.

The New Season Design credit must be kept in the footer as long as you are using the design.

Usernames & Passwords

You are responsible for supplying your usernames and passowrds for WordPress acess, FTP access, hosting (if necessary), and domain name registration (if necessary). We will protect all usernames and passwords. You should change your passwords after the design process is completed.
